Tools / Calibration

Make the speedo match the setup.

Tires, axle gears and portals can change the signal. Start with where your car measures speed.

Example values are shown; enter your original and new setup. Use the calibration your vehicle currently expects as the original. Determine where its speed signal is measured before choosing a correction.

CAN is a transport, not a sensor location. Trace the originating signal in your service manual. A portal sensor upstream of the hub gears needs those reductions included.

Use 1 for absent portals or auxiliary reductions. Road calibration normally uses high range; low-range switching may need separate ECU logic.

Choose a sensor location to see the correction.
